This command removes any ownership tags from an item or property.

Removes the owned/stolen flag from the selected object.

What clearownership does

clearownership strips the ownership tag from the reference you have selected. Once cleared, picking the object up — or taking items from the container — no longer registers as theft and will not anger nearby NPCs. Select the item or container in the console, type clearownership, and press Enter.
